I've been spinning, lately.
Spinning off in circles, going to job interviews.
Spinning, taking The Princess to volleyball tryouts.
Spinning, trying to figure out the fall schedule and calendar.
Here is my reality:
I got a job, starting next week. Supposed to be 30 hours a week, but my contract is that I agree to work more as requested, per workload. All well and good if I can figure out if/when I'll have to stay late. The UNKNOWN is enough to drive me mad!
The Princess made the volleyball team (go girl!) and has practice every week day. Which means that we've been scrambling, trying to figure out all of the logistics for which days she rides the bus home, which days she doesn't, who will be home in time which days, who will we ask to back us up . . .
Good problems to have. I'll take them. But still, this: Spinning.
The Faithful Alligator
Sometimes in life, you need a faithful navigator.
Sometimes, when you're a kid, you need a faithful alligator even more.
